Sophia is native to Southern California, growing up in Scripps Ranch. She has worked in the medical field since she was eighteen, after earning her certification in nursing assistance. Sophia gained well-rounded experience utilizing her certification in areas of Mental Health, Internal Medicine, and various Nursing homes doing wound care. She realized Dermatology was the area of practice for her and has spent years working alongside Dr. Uebelhoer, Dr. Kakimoto, and Dr. Brogan. Once Sophia graduated as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, we were happy to formally establish her as part of the Coronado practice team!

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her son and her dogs and going on outdoor adventures.
